Following the  imposition of a National Lockdown as from 5th January, the Old Church PCC has determined that Old Church will close for worship. This is in light of the high level of infection in Sandwell, the numbers at Old Church who are required to stay at home, and the burden and consequent risk on those who are responsible for public worship. Services for weddings and funerals are permitted although there are limitations on numbers – up to 6 people can attend wedding ceremonies and up to 30 people can attend funerals. You are advised to speak to your Funeral Director or to the Vicar of Old Church, the Reverend Deb Buckley.

Sunday morning services will continue but will revert to Zoom at 10.30 am. as from 10th January. That situation will continue to be reviewed as the implications of the pandemic become more obvious. The Zoom access details are below. The service sheets are available here as well as on Old Church WhatsApp.

Please do not hesitate to make contact if you feel Old Church could be of help to you at these exceedingly difficult times. Apart from anything else, it is undoubtedly a time for our prayer for others and for ourselves as the disease spreads.
